SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Scholarship Program was created to aid eligible children of Active First Responders
in their pursuit of higher education.

Scholarship Awards
The scholarship award shall consist of $3,000 for each academic year of enrollment in a college, university, vocational or technical school, not to exceed four years. Second, third and fourth year awards are contingent on the student’s successful completion of the previous academic year. The award is sent directly to the student so as not to mitigate any other awards from other sources that go directly to the institution. Click here for a list of 2022 recipients.

Eligibility
In order to be considered for a scholarship, the applicant must be a high school senior or recent high school graduate who has been accepted by an institution of higher learning, but has yet to begin classes. Children who are no longer dependents are ineligible.

Completed application with all required information must be sent to: 100 Club of RI, 235 Wilbur Avenue, Cranston, RI 02921 and post-marked no later than 1 March of each year. Responsibilities
The scholarship recipient (or the institution) must send in proof of enrollment (course list, etc.) from the institution of higher learning for each academic year to 235 Wilbur Avenue, Cranston, RI 02921. Normally the scholarship award will be utilized within the usual four academic years following the grant. However, deferral may be granted under special circumstances upon written request with the exception of a five year program such as Pharmacy, etc.

How long we retain your data
For users that purchase or renew a membership on our website (if any), we only store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
No financial information is retained.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
