A Message from The 100 Club of Rhode Island

     Welcome to the 100 Club of Rhode Island web page. On June 23, 2022, at our Annual meeting, I was
honored to become President of this great organization dedicated to helping first responders and their
families.

     I would like to give you an update on some of the events and actions taken by the 100 Club over the last
several months; during the past year the Club provided death benefit checks for two Correctional
Officers that died as a result of in line of duty illnesses, the Club also provided ten four-year scholarships
to sons and daughters of active first responders in the amount of $3000 for each academic year.

     In the month of August, the 100 Club hosted another highly successful Golf Tournament at the Alpine
Country Club. Accolades and a hearty thank you to event Chairman, and Past President, Joe Terino. Also,
during August Joe Terino and I were on hand at a Jeep show held at Elmwood Jeep in East Providence
where the 100 Club was designated as the recipient of the day’s charitable donation. A sincere thank
you to the owner of Elmwood Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram for their support of the 100 Club.
